We encourage your church, synagogue, or mosque to incorporate messages of peace and justice in their education and worship plans.
Join us for one of these interfaith events promoting peace among our religious communities.
The Pilgrimage for Peace begins with interfaith groups, community organizations, and individuals of all ages to peacefully walk to the Beacon of Peace and Hope at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum, located at 120 Riverfront Drive, North Little Rock. There, peacemakers will gather around the Beacon for a beautiful Remembrance Service to “mourn the violence committed in our community, nation, and world.” Community members of faith and activist organizations will read the names of homicide victims in central Arkansas in the past year. Prayers, poems, and prose promoting peace and nonviolence will be read as well.
Love Thy Neighbor annual interfaith prayer service at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church. A celebration of peace through music, prayer, and wisdom. Co-sponsored by The Interfaith Center and Arkansas House of Prayer.
